Microsoft Word 2010 Interface introduction


To learn Microsoft Word you need to know the basic ideas about Its interface and controls when you open the program. Here the basic introduction of the interface of Microsoft word 2010 to make it easy for you to understand. There are a little bit different with the others version of Microsoft word.

Quick access toolbar - This is one click access to commonly used commands such as Save, Undo and Redo. You can also
customize this according to your choice
Title Bar- Where showing the Document name that is currently
open
Ribbon - Set of main toolbar where organized all commands and controls in different Tab and Group, you can also customize this according to your choice.
Horizontal Scrollbar – Used when you want to scroll horizontally through the document window.
Zoom Control – Used for Increase or decrease of the document surface.
View Shortcut – Button used to change how the worksheet content is displayed. Like print Layout, Full Screen Reading and Web Layout.
Status Bar – It displays information about your document, Such as what page you are currently viewing and how many words are in your document, Etc.
Ruler – It used to set the alignment and margins of the elements in the document
Instruction Point – It is the blanking vertical document. It indicates where you can enter text on the page.
Document Window – The white surface where you can type all the data you need in the document.
